The kitchen was well equipped and the Wi-Fi signal was great. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the self-check-in process was easy. I also appreciated the provided coffee, tea, and sugar, as well as the dishwasher and washing machine tabs. a lovely place to stay with excellent facilities and a stunning view of traffic from the other entrance.

Additionally, the convenient proximity to amenities in the nearby village and a short drive to the city of Durham made it an ideal location for exploring the area.

The only minor drawback was the lack of curtains on one of the large windows in the front. This slightly reduced privacy in the evenings when walking through the apartment.

I particularly enjoyed the little window above the sink, allowing me to keep an eye on my parked car. The location of the property was also convenient, as it was a short drive away from local supermarkets and attractions like Beamish Museum and Newcastle city centre. it was a lovely getaway for couples who don't mind having to drive for day trips.

While there was very little to dislike about the apartment, I would have appreciated a shelf in the shower for toiletries like soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Additionally, the bed was not very comfortable, especially for my husband who didn't sleep well throughout our stay.
